Japanese Sake Tasting in Tokyo | Fine Craft & Private Art Space Experience
Sake changes with the vessel—
and when that vessel is an authentic work of Japanese fine craft, the experience deepens.
This experience takes place using artist-crafted vessels from the wanova collection,
within a quiet contemporary Japanese art space in Tokyo.
Some of these vessels include works by Living National Treasure artists,
offering a rare opportunity to encounter museum-level craftsmanship through direct use.
Your guide is Mako Yamamoto,
youngest finalist of the 6th World Kikizakeshi Competition (2025),
a certified kikizakeshi (professional sake sommelier).
By tasting the same sake across a wine glass, OCHOCO, SAKAZUKI, and handcrafted GUINOMI, you will discover how material, form, and craftsmanship shape aroma and perception.
This is not a standard tasting.
It is a composed encounter—between sake, craft, and space.
